FAQ: •Where are you? 11501 Winn Rd, Riverview, FL 33569 We are 20-25 minutes from the I4/I75 interchange, SE of Tampa. We are 45 minutes from Lakeland, 1 hour from Sarasota and Brooksville and 1.5 hours from Orlando, if the traffic gods smile upon you.

•What kind of event is this?We welcome you to our 5th Annual Seasonal Grand Opening. We offer a handmade and homegrown farmers and artisan market, kids gardening workshop and rock painting, tasty BBQ, frozen lemonades, a huge selection of poultry, quail, plants, fruit trees, organic vegetable starts, small livestock, jewelry, soap, apothecary, and much much more! The GOAQ rabbitry is returning, play with some cute fuzzy friends for a small donation, or purchase from their stock of handmade Easter bunnies! New this year? An apiary, learn more about caring for your own hive of bees! Tarot Readings by Lady Kathryn! Come see our crafters hard at work creating their beautiful wares. Sample jams, jellies, sauces and more! •What about the berries? The opening of our organic Blueberry Patch Upick is available on a first come first serve basis, and we definitely recommend that anyone wanting to pick arrive as close to 9:00AM as possible. Crops will be especially limited this year as we have had to make room for other berry operations and the sale of blueberry plants! That’s right, this year we will have multiple varieties of producing berry plants available for sale. You’ll be able to build your very own berry patch! You won’t want to miss out on our market!

Thirsty? Try a frozen lemonade or shaved ice from The Chilly Flamingo! 26 flavors of shaved ice ($3) and 4 flavors of lemonade ($5) not even the pickiest of grandkids could complain!

Or try a delicious fresh ground coffee from the Lyv Mobile Coffee Truck!

•What about dessert? Try a scrumptious scone or gluten free loaf from Fresh From Daisy!

What about Fido? Can he come? Well behaved pets are welcome on the property. Please keep in mind that we will have small livestock such as rabbits, chickens & ducks on site, so if you don’t know how Fido will react to them, perhaps best to leave him home.

•What’s a Kids Gardening Center? We invite all of our potential future farmers to try their hand at painting a vegetable pot or hiding rock, making a seed bomb or planting their very own vegetable seed to grow at home!

•Where should we park? Free Parking is available along the open lot at Potts Road and Winn Road. Please look for signage, observe speed limits and park in designated spots only to respect our neighbors. We’ve filled the entire stretch of road with vehicles before at previous events, we recommend a stroller, cart, or good comfy shoes and eating your Wheaties if you plan on purchasing fruit trees or bringing the kids, just in case.

54th Annual Rattlesnake Festival

 —  —

Pasco County Fairgrounds, 36722 State Road 52, Dade City, FL 33525

Come join us for our first time attending this event which is sponsored by The Thomas Promise Foundation.

The San Antonio Rattlesnake Festival began in 1967 as a small Jaycee project in San Antonio, Florida. In 1973, arts and crafts were added as an important part of the event. The Rattlesnake and Gopher Enthusiasts (R.A.G.E., Inc.) managed and grew the event successfully until 2012. From 2012 - 2016, the festival was managed by Rotary Clubs as a fund raiser for local charities and in 2017 the Thomas Promise Foundation stepped in to continue this great community festival. This year the festival will move to the Pasco County Fairgrounds to allow for ease of parking and festival growth, but the traditional activities will remain central to the event.

Food, arts & crafts, live music, wildlife, children’s games, and local history are highlighted each year. Family fun and entertainment are a main focus of the event. Note: Hours for Saturday are 9 am to 6 pm and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm.
